Repeat Prescriptions

multicolour_pillsRepeat prescription request slips are printed by the computer and monitored by the doctors.

We would request that the required medication is ticked and the slip either handed or posted into the practice.

Alternatively you can order online or by using "option 2" on our telephone prescription line and leaving a recorded message.  For online set up please call reception to complete a simple registration first.

We will arrange for your prescription to be delivered to your specified chemist.  For medications not listed on the prescription counterfoil, you may be asked to make an appointment with your GP.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor, or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

symbol error 3 Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed.

If you have asked a chemist to leave your request into the surgery please check with them when this will be left in and allow 48 hours from then for processing.

Remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account

It is the patients' responsibility to order their medication in good time, however if you are experiencing unexpected difficulties our staff will always try to help out where they can.
